Has anyone had to replace this motor/drive before?I have located where it is located, all the ID labels are on the top.I could make out a couple of the numbers that are no help at all.Any info would be greatly appreciated.Mike W.

There is no way anyone could tell what motor you have without info. I am guessing it is an electric gear driven slide.....It could be power gear or now lippert. There are different gear ratio's also.

Hey Mike, maybe this from our AI overlords will help:
•The '08 Keyston Cougar typically utilizes a Lippert (LCI) through frame rack and pinion system.
The most direct, replacement is the Venture/Tyson 18:1 Motor
• Standard Part # Lippert 125802 also cross ref. as Venture M-9000 or Tuson 1-065-041-012
Hey Mike, maybe this from AI will help:
• Alternative Part #: Keystone 429139
• Key Specs:
• Voltage: 12V DC
• Ratio 18:1 ( a 28:1 is used on heavier slides but is less common on the 292RKS)
• RPM: Approx. 9k before the gearbox reduction
•Amperage: Rated for ~ 30 amps

* check under the frame for a large sq. metal tube ( actuator) that moves in and out through a hole in the frame. If so you have the Through Frame System and need motor 125802

* The motor is usually located inside the underbelly or tucked near the frame rail on the opposite side of the slide. If you can see the label look for the "18:1" or "M-9000" designation.

If your slide isn't moving :
•Clickin/grinding is usually a stripped internal.plastic gear in the gearbox. The motor is fine, but the gearbox is shot.
• Complete silence:Often an electrical issue, or the30A reset breaker near the battery
• Slow movement: Likely a battery issue

* It's important to put eyes on the motor ( part) before ordering as Keystone occasionally used different suppliers mid-year.

Thanks for the reply,i'm kinda gathering that just from looking online.Seems that it might be a few different types or brands. The only thing in common is 18 to 1 ratio.I was able to locate it under the basement cover, but could not read any labels. The motor is really close to the floor above and all identifying labels are on top. Will keep on trying, again thanks for the reply
