Guys - recently chased the above. Nice motorhome with freightliner M2 106 chassis and Mercedes MBE 900 diesel. The dash panel has an option rocker switch (see pic) that I do not know what it was for. I realize this is probably an optional or customized function for the MH. Prior owner did not know what it was for.
Just thought I would take the chance and see if others with this style motorhome also had this "Option" rocker switch. It is not so easy to trouble shoot wiring on a freightliner as manuals are kept pretty tightly by the dealers and Dynaquest (Forest River) does not have any wiring diagram to offer in this age of motorhome.
I will and can figure it out by tracing wires back to the firewall bulkhead connectors or wherever they lead to perhaps since I have been able to find what the pinouts are for at the various plugins. I do know one radio wire for reverse signal comes from a wire on the back of this switch but hthere are numerous other wires on it. I also found out that Freightliner prints a unique number on every wire but sadly those are only available to Freightliner dealers as I understand it. That is unless someone happens to have a complete OEM manual to offer. Anyways - thanks for any feedback in advance.

Optional switches were left to offer body builders options (pun intended). In Dynamax coaches, if it still bears the OPT label, it wasn't used for anything. I have one in my 2013 Dynaquest 360XL.
