Washing dishes, water heater working fine until this. Water stopped completely. No flow. WHERE DO I ACCESS MY WATER HEATER TANK??? I can access the outside panel but no place to access inside. Thinking an internal valve got stuck?? 2 people already tried finding it with rv experience. We are all stumped!! I need my hot water!!! HELP!!!

There's a drain outside...sounds like your water heater needs a good cleaning (draining all the calcium buildup). Back out the drain plug and let her completely empty. That'll be a good indicator what to do next 😉 My guess is you'll want to put the plug in and fill it up and do again ! Also, replace the anode rod...I'm betting it's toast. My hunch is that your WH is just "gunked" up and needs to be drained. JMHO. Good luck...

It is likely behind a panel. Look on the inside corresponding to where it is on the outside. You will likely have to remove screws to get to it. The other alternative is that there may be no internal access. In that case see if you can see the back of it from a neighboring outside bay.

When last have you rinsed ot the inside of the hot water tank? Does it use an anode rod. When you find the bypass valves, try by passing the HWH, and see if there is flow from the hot water faucet. If so, you outlet to your tank may be plugged.

We did empty the tank but it looked ok. I don't know where to access the bypass valve, we've looked everywhere. There needs to be access to them right???? I haven't seen an anode rod so i don't think this one has one that is removable. Thank you!! This has helped some

We did empty, did not see an anode rod, and i was looking.

RV Water Heater Check Valve Malfunction
The check valve prevents water backflow, so cold water doesn't flow back into the water heater. If it fails, you'll often know it because you'll have low/no water pressure when running the hot water. If this is your issue, you may need to replace your check valve.

I found this on line. What type water heater do you have?
