We have a 2013 DS that has developed an engine issue that I am having difficulty describing. It will on occasion stutter, meaning as you’re going down the road it will lose power momentarily (split second) the check engine light will come on but continue down the road.

We took a short weekend trip, and it did it twice on the way up and I think 3 times on the way home.

It feels a bit like there may be air in the fuel, but I have no idea how or where it might be introduced.

Hi, FYI...you posted this in the NEWELL owners group, not NEWMAR.

I'll let the Mods know so they can move it.

You'll need get more info on your problem. Error Codes will be key. This could be an EGR, a Sensor, or as you say a fuel problem which...with an abrupt stutter...seems more likely.

This kind of issue could be related to water in the fuel. You may have gotten some bad fuel at your last stop. If the fuel filter has not recently been changed, now might be a good time to do that.

We had the coach serviced in May. First time it happened I assumed it was air in the line.
It didn't do it again on the next trip of about 700 miles. We filled up on the way home, shortly after it did it again. It does it once or twice each trip now.
I have checked relays and lines nothing of significance.
I have an appointment on the 23rd WITH NIRVC.
