Had a fun one yesterday… the summer loop pump on the Oasis decided to quit on us.. no hot water.. Luckily I had a spare on board, which definitely saved the day, but not easily..
That said, whoever designed the location of that pump deserves a talking to—it’s in a terrible spot. I had to drain the tank and pull the Loop 2 pump just to get access to the hose clamps for the summer loop pump. Not a fun job at all. Not alot of room for hose pinch pliers in that area.
On the bright side, I’m a little better prepared now. Put together a small kit with extra clamps, a short hose, and a drill-powered pump so draining and refilling the Oasis tank will be a lot easier next time.
