TJ here. Looking to purchase a 2014 Bay Star 3308. Trying to find out if there any problems with this year model or how I can find any history at Newmar, IF, it has any. I’m sure the ride will never meet a diesel pusher but hoping it’s not as bad as all other Class A like a friend that has a coachman pursuit 29 foot.
Any help appreciated.

Welcome aboard!

My 2010 30’ Bay Star was on that chassis and drove like an unloaded delivery truck. The 3308 is probably much better suited to the 20,500 chassis, and while it has less CCC, I always had more than I needed and would have welcomed a softer ride. I did some minor inexpensive suspension mods and installed Koni shocks. I noticed a slight improvement in handling with the Konis but the ride was even worse, so if I were doing it again I’d stick with stock shocks.
