2015 Forest River Georgetown XL 328TS

My husband and I getting ready to look at this motorhome and would like to know the pro's and the con's, the likes and the dislikes from anyone who owns or has owned this model? Your input is GREATLY appreciated! Thank you!!

It has a GCVWR ( Motorhome + tow capacity) of -~30,000 lbs. with a 3 valve V10 and 5 speed torqshift tran. Mine with the exact same powertrain has a gcvwr of 23,000 and I definitely know it when dragging my 5k toad. So expect the Georgetown XL to be a slog in the hills and mtns. I’d check that the manifold studs are in good order, they have a history of rusting off on the V10.

This was one of our concerns, how it does on the hills and mountains and especially merging onto a highway! Thanks!
