I had a 2010 Baystar on a 2008 Chassis, that was actually first owned by Holiday Rambler. It was during that period of failing coach companies and my guess is that Newmar scooped up some unbuilt chassis cheap. Anyway it never affected the value - the coach was titled as a 2010 so that’s what it was. And that would be the thing to ensure.
Also my 2016 Ventana was on a 2015 chassis which turned out to be a blessing because it had slightly less problematic emissions. And again, the title said 2016 and thats what it was.
So in your case I’d ensure it is titled as a 2024 AND that the chassis meets the same specs (or better) as at least a 2023. If the 23 or 24 has advancements that the 22 didn’t, I’d walk unless the seller could make enough of a price adjustment to satisfy you. On the other hand, a 22 chassis might have some more desirable attributes, as did my 2015 chassis 2016 Ventana.
Also ensure that you aren’t losing a year of warranty coverage and get that in writing in no uncertain terms. Ford is always very happy to tell you something is not covered by the warranty, so don’t just take the dealer at his word. Verify and document.
