Hi All,
I am new to RV'ing and have a 2025 Revel (built on 2024 chassis) that I bought new in May '26 so this is my first time preparing for winter. I bought it from a dealer in Florida while I live in Ohio so can't go back to the dealer (and unfortunately they are not at all helpful remotely with phone calls/emails).

First, the chassis battery doesn't seem to last more than about 2-3 weeks of non-usage (house batteries are fine). I find myself putting the vehicle on a trickle charger even for short periods between uses. This seems unusual to me but I wanted to check with the community to see if that is typical and my expectations are just off. Also, perhaps there are settings on the vehicle itself that I should change - if anyone has any tips I would appreciate it.

Second, I am looking to winterize the Revel and watching YouTube videos it seems there should be a siphon connection just below the Winterization valve but I don't have that on mine. Perhaps I am looking in the wrong location. Does anyone know if early builds perhaps had a different setup or if I am just looking in the wrong place?

I appreciate any insights.

Thanks

Welcome to the wonderful world of MB Sprinters.

These units are very prone to parasitic drains on chassis batteries. It’s universal.

I know of a couple of ways to deal with it.

First, you could do as you have, and place a trickle charger on it.

Second, you could disconnect the battery. If yours is like mine, there is a small hatch down near your right ankle through which you can access a battery connection. I can get you a pic of it tomorrow if needed. It looks kinda like a small pistol. Push a top mounted button and remove.
