Question 2026 Entegra Vision XL 36C, Generator fuel pump squealing

Recently purchased a 2026 Entegra Vision XL 36C. When turning on the generator, we hear a loud squealing coming from the rear of the rig. Brought it to the RV Service department where we purchased it and I'm told it's a manufacturing issue where the pick-up pump for the generator fuel system is too far from the generator. I'm not buying that excuse in that Class A RVs are designed with long fuel runs in mind and a properly designed generator system such as Cummins Onan should not squeal because of distance. I am told that at the moment there is no manufacturers fix and we need to live with that noise until there is. Anybody have any similar issues or thoughts?
