As stated above, business owners decision. If the demand is there 6 month contracted revenue is better than shorter period or month to month.
But not all parks have the same managers or business model. As stated above, the beauty of RVs is they are mostly mobile. Shop around for a better deal.
 
Where we are in Florida, if we stay longer than about 4 1/2 months it is cheaper to be annual.

Our site is ours so we don’t have to worry about getting bumped etc.

Made sense for us in the long run but we still look around too just in case we find a place we like better.
 
When all this madness gets to be more than you want to put up with, find an area you like and buy a place.

I'm thinking some day I'll figure out where I want to be and then wait for you to sell a lot you have there that you just completely renovated. It will be like winning the lottery.
