Own a 2015 Forest River Rockwood Hard Side Pop Up, Model A122. The original polycarbonate skylight domes are discolored and cracking with age. To prevent leaks, epoxy repair and re-chalking is constant. These appear to be identical to the newer units, being not screwed down and just placed over the openings with the flanges being stuck on with some type of adhesive and edges chalked for adherence and water proofing.
Plan to order new ones soon, but cannot find reliable information on how to stick on and seal prior to chalking. Would guess some type of waterproof double sided adhesive tape with permanent adhesion to both the skylight and roof surface. Being they expand and contract with temperature, imagine it should be flexible and have a little thickness to fill gaps.
Any recommendations as to a name brand material from someone who has experience with this?
Thanks,
George
