Hi. In 2014, we sold most of our stuff along with our house, and with our 2007 Itasca Sunova 33-T pulling our 2014 Honda CR/V in tow, we headed out from the Pacific Northwest to see the rest of our country. A few months in, we traded in our used motorhome for a new 2013 Itasca Sunova 35G. We were full-timers for just over 2 years, and later after we settled into a new home, we lived inside our coach for another 13 months while the house was being remodeled. Unfortunately, my sarcoma cancer cost me my entire left leg, and while I could still drive, there's just too much to do in setting up and breaking camp that my wife didn't want to deal with on her own, so we sold it in early 2021.

I have a YouTube channel (@LifeOnTheStrait), where part of the content that I post relates to that Great Adventure, and my recent postings planted a seed for a song in my head. I've been creating several songs using the AI tool Suno - the lyrics are all mine, and I instruct Suno how I want the music to sound. Anyway, I nurtured that song to completion a few days ago, and while it won't show up on iTunes, Amazon Music and all of the other store and streaming services until March 20th, I've uploaded it to this thread for you to listen to. The name of the song is "Itasca." The song mostly mirrors our experience except for the final part, which is my way of saying that this is how I intend to go when I eventually leave this earth (surviving Stage 4 sarcoma cancer always keeps you looking in the rear view mirror for the Reaper).

I'd appreciate your feedback, and if you have any other travel-related questions, my YouTube channel mentioned above also has links that will take you to a cloud drive where you can download the book I wrote (but didn't publish) about our journey. Titled "The Yonder Years," it is three volumes totaling 1,234 pages (tons of photos) in PDF format, and is free for folks to download. We had never owned an RV before, so it covers everything, from the extensive planning that was involved to the huge learning curve that we got caught up in.

Hi CT: Weeelllll let me tell ya I think your song is great! I luv the lyrics, and the singers voice is very cool sounds a little like Bob Dylan with that rasp in his voice.

Wishing you all the success in the world.
