My AC unit still cools but stuggles when in the direct sun above 90 degrees. It runs continuously. We had the unit seviced but no change. The tech said we are low on freon and would need to replace the roof unit as you cant add freon to RV AC's. Is there a way to splice the lines and add a valve to add freon.

How does he know it's low on freon? Meantime, if you're trying to cool a 33' travel trailer with one rooftop ac in direct sun @ 90+° it's not likely going to shut down.
