Let me further explain... If you open Claude Desktop there is a model selector on the bottom right. Different models are available depending on the paid tier you're on vs free, etc. There is also a level of effort you can choose which equates to cost as well, using up your allowed quota before having to wait for a reset. I'm on the Claude Max (200/mo) plan as this is used for all day coding.

Absolutely need human oversight, however, the human must have at least enough knowledge to smell out the BS as the models are very convincing when they provide answers and one can be easily led astray. Validation between models, and asking for citations that prove the answers are valuable techniques.
