Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta Rally

Are any of you planning on attending the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta October 4-9? I was on the standby list and received an email Thursday from Kountry Klub telling me I had cleared the standby list. This event has been a Bucket List item for me and now I will be able to check this off my list...

There is a good chance I will still be in the area after the Balloon Fiesta event. I have reservations at the Route 66 RV Resort following the event before I start making my way down to AZ. If I'm around I will reach out and perhaps we can meet up at the event during the time you are there.

I am at the Newmar Kountry Klub Balloon Fiesta Rally... Will there be any Forum members here this session that I will meet? I will post up pictures, etc. of the festivities during my 6 days here.

I unhooked at the check in station and came back to get me Jeep after I was parked which was directly across from the check in location. I've seen some folks continue on after checking in and unhook near their spot. Regardless, you will unhook once you get to the VIP North Lot... the check in crew will direct you regarding unhooking based on the how long the line may be.

Newmar is well represented and in the front row... as we should be...

Here is a preview of things to come starting tomorrow morning.

As I mentioned previously, this is dry camping and there are pump outs and water available if you should need it. You will be running your generator for AC so for anyone here that might be attending please do the right thing and have an exhaust stack for your generator. They don't cost very much and your immediate neighbor, on the exhaust side, will appreciate it as mine does... Unfortunately my neighbor doesn't have an exhaust stack and it is quite annoying...
