Electric footrest made a terrible grinding noise, then only came out 1 inch. The other functions work fine. I’m thinking the cable drive connecting the 2 worm gear sheared.
Before I start investigating can anyone suggest other areas to look at. I think one of my guests may have had weight on it while trying to raise it.
