As a matter of routine I always check the OEM of any product on Amazon to see the MSRP. I prefer buying directly from OEM. Also, check if Amazon is an approved reseller.
Recently looking at a mobile CB antenna, on Amazon $84.95, online at Walmart $54.00, both free shipping and Walmart delivery was quicker. OEM did not offer sale info or MSRP.
Also, if the seller on Amazon is not an Approved Retailer of the OEM, no warranty. Watch out for third party sellers, lots of costs to return, shipping fees, restock cost, etc.
For an example here is a YouTuber that got caught by a Amazon Reseller.
