Interesting find here at this campground, an airstream "motorhome".

Agree. I’ve seen a handful of them here and there.

Heck, they even have their own RV park in Olympia, Washington; WA Land Yacht Harbor RV Park. It was started by a chapter of the Wally Byam Caravan Club International in the 1960s and is still in operation today. Wally was the founder of Airstream.

We’ve stayed there (yes, they let other brands in too!) and saw several classic Airstream Land Yachts parked there. In their day, they were pretty nice coaches. I think the current Airstream brand (Thor) is producing some smaller coaches still.

Drove a 34ft brand new unit from the factory to calif. years ago. Best driving motorhome ever. Went thru a hail storm in Oklahoma that dented up all the cars around me. Not one ding. In Nebraska hit a wind storm that turned over serveral big rigs. Not another motorhome on the road, I dont even remember taking the cruise control off. Truly a fun motorhome to drive.
