I'm trying to find a good trip planner. RV Parky doesn't seem to be up to date. Most of the newest reviews are two and three years old. Are you using one you like?

I use RV LIFE Trip Wizard. It has over 25k campgrounds with review’s, amenities and pictures. Uses a driving radius (set by your time or mileage settings) overlayed on a map so you can easily zone in on an area to look for campgrounds. You can even set filters for the CG’s for hookups, types (private, state etc) and memberships. Also can show low fuel warnings based on your inputted tank size and MPG.

After you plan a trip it automatically loads that info into their RV Safe GPS (using your rig’s height, weight propane etc.

It has a 7 day free trial as well

Thanks for your reply. I'll take a look at RV Life.
You’re Welcome, if you're going t buy it...go to the RV Life YouTube channel, they have a discount for the 1st year

We have used the RV Life trip planner for years. We were seeing others talk about other trip apps but quickly went back to RV Life as the other apps didn’t work as well or took longer for me to plan the trip.
It has a cost but is worth it for time saved in planning for us.

We switched from RV Life to inRoute.

It is $39.99 a year for the subscription, is an actual app that installs on all my devices.

Personally I like it much better than the Trip Wizard planner.

I have had RV Life for three years, Roadtripper, Harvest Host, Wanderlog, and never really used them.

I don't need an app to tell when I need fuel or find a station for me, plenty of signs when the next Love's, Pilot, Circle K etc, are coming up. You can still access RVParky, RV Life, and other campground reviews without membership fees.

I use a Garmin RV GPS to navigate and set my routes, or my co pilot wife if getting off the interstate.

Maybe it isn’t worth the time for some to plan fuel stops but we have found it can save us hundreds of $ over the course of a year. We don’t wait until we hit a certain level of the gauge then start looking but we make one stop every 8+ hours of driving - we check our route ahead of time and find the best pricing from a reputable provider. The difference between cities or states can be over $.60 a gallon.
