Not sure if I understand correctly, but when I replaced my thermostat with a micro-air I used their website. It walked me thru and had pictures. Mine was simple plug and play. I have 2017 American Dream and also replaced one on a 2015 Entegra Aspire.
I did not replace an Atwood thermostat, mine was an Coleman - apologies for not reading the entire post.
Yes the 2017 does have the correct control boards to be directly compatible and plug and play.

Backwater Technology TCCSA makes a thermostat for the older units that is plug and play but no WIFI at this time. If you have a bad thermostat this is a very nice digital replacement and is in the same plastic case as the original.

I installed the Micro Air and replaced all three control boards in ac units with wiring to get it to work
WOW casper4848 it sounds like you have been down a path I am getting ready to travel! I have a 2005 American tradition since 2009. One of the original AC's finally blew up. They had a long run! Anyhow, I have 2 Mach 8's (37024-079) 2 9630A751 control boxes and a micro air 345 sitting here. I think I might have ordered the wrong thermostat or control boxes. I'm concerned about wire routing and hydrohot control. It would be a huge help if you could shed some light on your experience. I am more than capable to install all of it but am lost on compatibility. Please help with your able!
