Auto Start/Stop on New Vehicles.

My manual transmission Wrangler does not have auto stop/start but my Bronco and Trailhawk do. I use Forscan and J-scan software to turn it off.... permanently. The software does many other mods so well worth the $20 license and a good quality OBD II scanner. The software does not void any warranty as the features can be turned on again.

In my Genesis GV80, there is a button that turns the ASS off.
I use a plastic bread loaf 'clip' to jam under the button to keep it deactivated all the time. Most all Genesis owners, on our forum, do also.
Totally forget I even have that 'feature' now.

That was the fix I had done with my Telluride until I bought the electronic gizmo for $99 that accomplishes the same task.

Agreed. It just bugged me every time I detailed the car.

When we bought the GC I had the auto stop disabled by the dealer. This past winter had the batteries changed out and I forgot to tell them to disable it...... shoot.
