Resolved Autofill valve replacement

Walked around the coach last night after being parked for a few hours and hooked up to rv park water. I noticed water slowly coming out of the fresh tank overflow. I visually checked the tank and it was filled to the top. I shut off the park water and the overflow stopped. I never use the autofill feature and it is always off at the front control panel. The only time I use the valve is to fill the tank as needed during a trip and the valve is always left in the autofill position after filling the tank.
So, I’m assuming that the valve has failed allowing water to slowly fill the tank. Has anyone replaced this valve. How hard is it to replace and is it a standard part available most anywhere or do I need to call Newmar parts to get a replacement. I’m on the road for a couple of weeks and would like to source one locally. Right now I can’t use the shore water without the tank overflowing.

Came back from a long dog walk to find a pool under my coach and water gushing out the overflow and thankfully not bays, door, windows! Autofill display showed "Ready" and not filling yet it was obviously still filling. It did start a filling cycle before I left for the dog walk. Something didn't turn all the way off it appears. I turned off city water and it stopped. I then turned on manual fill, then off after turning on city water again, and also turned on autofill again and no flow. I'll definitely be watching this and carefully using autofill going forward. We've all heard stories and...

I just went through the thread you suggested. I have never once used the autofill system. Is it still possible that the electrical valve could open when it’s never been in any position except closed? Really?? That’s why I thought it might be the mechanical valve that is leaking.

It could be a number of things for sure, some have simply cycled the manual fill valve on/off a few times and fixed their issue. I don't know if the valve is "normally open" or "normally closed" as I haven't reviewed the thread in a while.

Fresh water pump leaking through is the usual problem. Shut off park water and run on your tank for a couple days.

As above I’d just fill the tank (which it already is), shutoff shore water and run off the pump.

Pressure is low where we are currently so been running that way for a few weeks now.

Then you can troubleshoot, repair as needed, after the trip.

Turns out something went wrong in the water pump and water was leaking back through the pump into the fresh tank. I had no idea this was possible. Replaced the pump and all is good! Thanks for the replies.
