Anyone have a problem can’t use in the rain doesn’t pitch

Your description is lacking info.
Are you saying that your awning does not slant down to let the rain water run off?
If you are, sounds strange. Most awnings tend to slant somewhat when they are extended.
On the arms that extend, you should be able to pull at the elbow and bend the awning down.
Just food for thought. If it is raining, too late. But if you know the rain is coming, stow the awning before it rains. Does two things. Prevents possible gusty winds from ruining your awning and if you are not in your location for a day or two, your not rolling up your awning wet and allowing the possibility of mold forming.

We have a 2024 44view and our awning does not have the locking mechanism to tilt or pitch the awning one way or the other. Water will not drain, in even the slightest rain a massive (relative to the awing) amount of water will pool in the middle of the awning...stretching the fabric right out. The amount of water was so great, the awning wouldn't retract, I had to use a broom to push the water out...no automatic dump feature or anything. I'd love to find a solution to keep the awning titled one way, I can pull down by hand, but it takes a lot of force, however at that point, the draining water comes off of the side of the awning. Terrible design, as it stands now we can't use the awning in any amount of rain and can't be outside, bummer.
