Hi. I'm new to the forum and was hoping someone could point me in the right direction. We are on the third day of a three month trip in our 2018 Ventana 4037. Last night it rained (no wind) and our Carefree Trav'R DT awning collapsed. The front arm is completely bent down and twisted. Based on recommendations from the cam

pground, Carefree Colorado's website, and Camping World, we called 6 different technicians. Only one got back to us and said he might be able to come take a look in a couple of days.

Any ideas of someone I can contact to get the awning fixed or removed. We are expecting thunderstorms this evening and I really don't want it hanging there. We are in Richmond, IN.

Your best bet at this point is to probably just remove it yourself. Even if someone gets out there in a couple days they're going to have to order parts if not a complete replacement.

How much time do you have where your are currently? I find it hard to believe just rain fall caused that kind of damage.

Just rain. We had a heavy downpour and I guess it couldn't drain properly.

Someone is coming out Thursday. They have a motor arm that matches the model. We'll just extend our stay by a few days.
