Recently we arrived at a campground with the Towed having a low battery. On newer vehicles if the battery is too low the starter circuit is disabled.
Luckily, being the ever paranoid guy, I carry a battery booster, Amazon.com .
Pulled out the booster and the vehicle started.

These items are relatively cheap and great to have when needed.

I carry the same one in my toad. Good choice.

Maybe check that your coach is powering your toad while towing? I use blue ox and had to make sure I had the pins setup properly so the battery is being charged while towed.

What's causing the drain for just a few hours of driving though? With an average of 4-6 hours for a RV trip, what would cause a significant discharge?

When I bought my 2017 GMC Canyon, they gave me this charger.

The most goodies I ever got with a new vehicle were a pen, a tote bag, and a mug.

I, also, carry a Noco booster pack. Ya never know!

Another positive for this charger, I've had it since 2017 its never been charged except for the initial charge. I had to use it a few weeks ago on my lawn tractor and it was still showing full charge.

The NOCO can be charged using a USB outlet. Simple to use and holds a charge.
The reason the battery was low is still a mystery.
The battery needs to be disconnected during the Flex tow. We use a disconnect solenoid on the main battery terminal.

What breaking system are you using? They utilize the vehicle battery for power and that combined with brake lights and turn signals will drain your battery. I have a small on board battery charger I bought from Brake Buddy. It is powered by the coach when going down the road.

I use this, plug the brake into it and save my jeep battery, plus if it does need a jump, I'm prepared

On the Flex we use a M&G 2.0 air brake. It is powered by the RV air. The brake lights use the trailer connection not the Flex power.
The battery power of the Flex is disconnected via an installed battery power disconnect solenoid.

I just found another use for my NOCO GB150.

When towing my 2022 GMC Canyon my battery has to be disconnected therefore my Rove R2 4k pro dash cam doesn't work. This Rove also has the rear camera which I wanted to be able to record any idiots behind me. My NOCO has a USB outlet so I can power the cameras with it.

This is the one I carry. Starts the toad multiple times on a single charge and is supposed to start my 9 liter coach engine. I have never needed to so I don't really know if it will. Would somebody please tell me how you insert a hyperlink that just shows amazon.com?

Okie, to insert a link go up to the tan strip and click on what looks like 2 link chain (if you hover over the links they will say what they are) click it and paste the link there. In the text box pick a name for the link and type it in. The system will format it correctly.

I fixed the link, the initial https was missing.

Maybe you need a solar backup generator. Last time I went camping, I couldn't start the car because of insufficient power, so I paid a fee. Later, I found the SOUOP 5000W power station on the website as a backup power supply, which was very useful.
