Ok guys. I am having an issue with my 12v system. I am plugged into shore power, and my batteries won't charge. I have checked the converter, and it is working. Any ideas what the issue could be?

Welcome to the forum! If you provide additional info, you'll get help here.

The additional info that would be helpful: What's the year/model of the rig; your history with it and past charging experiences connected, unconnected, from the alternator; describe the 12V system - battery type(s)/ages/health, charger; indications (or not) that the charger is receiving power; any details you can give to indicate what is working, what isn't, and your previous experiences charging the 12V system with those system components.

Greg.

Welcome to RVforums. Please complete profile and prove RV data. Are you sure your inverter is a charger as well and on inverter? Sometimes they are separate units. Check all connections

Greg. Its a 2019 bighorn 3870 5th wheel. i was at a park plugged in for a few months and no issues. i pulled it home and plugged it in and noticed the lights dimming after about 4 days. The batteries are about 6 months old and i have checked the converter and it is putting out 14.46 volts.

Try turning off the converter, disconnecting the battery leads and putting a battery charger on the battery directly. If it charges, something is wrong with the converter system or wiring. If it still does not, it's probably a bad battery.
