BEST ICE CHESTS

On the lighter side, I was wondering what the best ice chests are out there other than the Yeti. We have always gone with the Igloo but lately have found them to have completely melted Ice after 24 hours or so. Any recommendations would be great. Thanks

Most companies have come out with 10 or 15 day chests. They all need to be loaded with ice a day or two before the trip for the chest to work as a 10 day chest. They all need to have the melt removed daily to get the best life from the ice.

I think any of the 10-15 day chests will be the same. For us, we needed to have one that was certified bear proof for use in the national parks. We chose to go with the Engel brand based on availability, design, price, and function.
