Black tank vales

Is it OK to use comet or Ajax on a regular basis to clean the toilets? Just thinking about the black tank dump valve seals.

We use Lysol bathroom cleaner without issue. You figure it will get diluted with everything else in there.

I think an abrasive cleanser would be bad for the toilet not the black tank gate valve.

We actually use the Dawn Platinum Power wash spray on the toilet.

Don’t have to worry about the macerator, rubber seals, etc.

Works well too.

Probably true…

Constant grit being ground back and forth when you open and close the valves would be worse then nothing, like Dawn powerwash or any liquid cleaner.
