Boondocking w/propane

If I am Boondocking and using my propane furnace will it cause any damage if my batteries die overnight? No solar, trailer not plugged into the truck.

It will damage the batteries eventually. Even lithium should not be drained 100% repeatedly. My 1 - 100ah lithium ran my furnace and residential fridge all night and only got down to 65%. Worth it if you boondock.

Hmmm Leave the furnace turned down very low, put an extra blanket on and "snuggle"! The blower takes up quite a bit of juice I believe.

The only issue I can think of is that RVs built in the last 20+ years apparently have solenoid valves in the propane line to the fridge that will close if your battery goes dead.

Then again, if it's cold enough to need the furnace, what are the odds of your food going bad in a few hours at night where you're not opening the fridge?

The valves open when voltage is applied to allow propane to flow. Lack of it will also prevent the board from working. Somewhere around 10.5 to 11 volts.....depends on the unit.
