Omg, you have taken it to a new level. I only dream about paving our laneway and look what you have done. Yikes!$$$
And just like that, 4 tiny homes disappeared! :)

We've always planned on clearing out a spot next to the creek but someone quite important (you know who you are :)) is coming out late September and we know he will like to put his feet into the creek! So yeah, we're moving the project up to the front of the line.

There is a creek behind all those Mountain Laurel's in the picture just below.

And here is the same place after spending a couple of days removing trees, plants and a few thousand years of leaves that have turned into the most awesome soil anyone has ever seen!

Next picture shows the new area from the creek looking out. We'll plant some grass, Trish will landscape it, and we'll probably put a huge community fire pit in the middle. Or maybe a deck, just not sure yet.

And here is the modest creek that we forged back in time to gain access! We've been lacking rain, so it's not flowing as strong as usual. But the water is cold and as fresh as any spring water you've ever seen. And it sounds awesome!

We made pretty good progress today but we'll have to give it a few days to dry out before I can level things out and get it ready for grass.

It's gonna be cool!

This looks great! We look forward to seeing it in person!
Thanks!
Stay cool in the heat.

Wow. That is super nice!

I'm not coming in September. Hellooooooo!

Wow. That is super nice!
I think it will be. It's just big enough to put out some awesomely mellowing sounds. It really get rolling when we have a rainy year. But even at its lowest, it never stops flowing.

Same creek but in a different area. This will not be an RV site, but it will have a huge deck that hangs out over the water and maybe a small cabin. We hope to have the cabin powered by a hydro generator. Started this about 4 or 5 years ago and lost a lot of it when we had a huge flood. But little by little, we're putting it back together.
