A milestone of sorts, as the 1st Prevost showed up this evening. I had always hoped that @sheridany would be the first.

And here's why we call it "Deer Springs RV Park!"

There's an area by a stream that we've been clearing out so that our guests can get to it. And what I figured would be a 3-4 day job, has turned into a 3 month job! Not 3 months of 8 hour days, but 3 months of a day here, a day there, etc.

First, it's in a very isolated area and there are thousands of years of leaves that have built up on the ground, and it doesn't drain at all. So it all of them had to be removed. By the time I had removed it all, the floor had dropped over 2'.

But it's fine now, and we can walk right over to the creek. It's very peaceful listening to the water flow over the rocks. A couple of guests have taken their doggies over and they're all enjoying it. We built a small deck but we still have to put up railing and a wheelchair ramp.

Trish took over some plants and did some decorating (of course ) but it's got a long ways to go yet.
