Black Gold $$

Might need to change the name from RV Park to RV Resort 😀

Looks GREAT Jim, First class all the way. Believe me I know how much blacktop paving costs these days. I had a 225 yard driveway ten feet wide and 6500 sq. ft at the top paved a few years back, OUCH.

Your place LOOKS OUTSTANDING....!!!

Beautiful. One of these days, we'll make it there. It's on my bucket list. Still dealing with that " time off "
thing. I still love my job, so at least there's that.

Some random pictures of the new road going up to what we will call "Deer Springs Wilderness Loop". :)

I think it's safe to say that no one looking to put profits first would ever hire me. lol, but hey, I'm having a good time! :)

We appreciate your focus on quality. Your place is amazing and it just gets better.

How long before the asphalt is firm enough for 45Klb rigs to head up there without rutting it up or leaving dents if they pause? My uncle had a pretty steep driveway at his old lake house on Keowee and we were there a week after it was paved. A new refrigerator was needed ASAP and I had my Dakota there so off we went to Lowes. Parking on the steepest section right in front of the front (non-lakeside) door just for 20 minutes left 1" deep divots, worse so with the rear tires (parking brake) where it looked like it slid about 1" downhill while smearing the asphalt, all in only 20 minutes and with a very light truck.

Not sure to be honest. But we're not opening this area until May of 2024, so I'm sure we'll be OK.

You gonna be the first one up? :-)

I'd love to but I'm still shopping for a TT and all my kids are 12 and under, likely the kind of kids that make for "no kids 12 and under" rules. They're the kind of kids that can wear out a really hyper active dog then do it all over again after a gatorade or coca-cola infusion.

The proximity does sound very appealing!

Let us know when we can make reservations for the new area. I’m thinking sometime in October 2024.

Took my rig up the new road for some pictures of where the 4 new sites will be. Got pictures of sites 12, 13, & 14 but the pics for Site 11 weren't worth posting.

Each of the 4 sites will have its own set of long range views and although every RV is visible to the others, none of them are looking into the awning side of any of the others.

We may have to come visit in the Fall....

Wow looks great. Are you going to put concrete pads in at the top right away or are you going to wait?
