Interesting. For Oregon these things seemed interesting in the new compliance laws, but the language seemed specific to commercial trucks (I'm not a lawyer):

• If vehicle is operated for 5K or fewer miles on Oregon highways in a calendar year owners can apply for an exemption.
• If your rig is powered by a model year 2006 or older diesel engine you may not be able to get a title come Jan 1, 2025
• If your rig is powered by a model year 2006 or older diesel engine you may not be able to register that vehicle as of January 1, 2029.

I think the ACT is just the beginning of troubles for the EV mandates. Auto manufacturers can’t sell enough EVs to make a profit and the subsidies aren’t enough to bridge the gap. Many autos have already changed they plan for ev, or scrapped it altogether.

2030 is not realistic.
