We purchased a gently used 2010 Roadtrek and are excited to hit the road. We previously owned a Class B+ and a Class A diesel pusher but long trips no longer appeal to us. Does anyone have a resource for a hitch mounted cargo rack that will work with the rear mounted spare tire on the Roadtrek? Would be nice to tote a grill & lawn chairs. Thanks…we look forward to learning more thru this awesone forum .

Welcome aboard (y) My first thought would be to use a 2" Receiver Extension to get out as far as your spare tire, then use whatever cargo rack you prefer. You would have to keep an eye on it though, whenever you back up, or traverse dips/ditches.

For my Jeep, I purchased a cargo carrier that folds up and is raised up a bit.

Thx! We’ll measure to make sure, but sounds logical.
