I'm not making anything difficult that I know of. I went to get my insurance for the RV changed to the Florida address (mailing address) and my broker said no. I don't reside in the state the required minimum of 3 months out of the year, he won't give me a policy on a mailing address. I could go to Pelican Lake for 3 months in Naples, FL and then contact him and use that address, he said. Which does not make sense to me, some locations wouldn't allow it I don't think. In the end, he's trying to protect me from having a claim denied on the RV. It has nothing to do with domicile or anything else. But in order to get a FL driver's license I have to have proof of insurance which I assume is at the FL address. I wonder if I could get a FL driver's license and keep my insurance with my present policy? Hmmm...
