Wow, I think we've struck a nerve here...

Don't know where unless someone is a very sensitive and fragile being, but it just reinforces my belief that never get between a mother (or some fathers) and their kid/pet/horse. They expect others to love and want--and excuse--their [insert being here] as much as they do and it's all emotional.
