Folks:
I have to be doing something wrong. I plugged into shore power and everything works fine. But after a bit the chassis batteries go dead.
I am not an expert on these things; so I need someone to help me figure this out. I currently shut off the disconnect so they don't drain; but that disables some features like the steps.
I make sure the inverter and charger is on, but doesn't help.

I tried calling REV and they can't help. They didn't care about older models when they bought it from Navistar.

Following since when I went down to the shop a few weeks ago to check on my Monaco the chassis batteries were so dead I couldn't bring in the awning.
Something to do with an ird or a bird or a trombetta I think from reading a little but haven't got into it too deep yet.

After much research I have found that my coach doesn't charge the chassis batteries on shore power. Chassis batteries are only charged by the alternator. My owner manual says they should, my owner manual is wrong.
That doesn't mean yours shouldn't be, since yours is newer than mine.

I looked in my front electrical bay for a BIRD and found an IRD.
