40 hrs labor to change a head gasket? That’s one person working full time 8hrs a day for 5 days???. Does not look reasonable to me. I have done work on marine diesels in my past life. Unless they will be taking the engine out to do turn work?

We will see but in my case it's rear radiator so that has to be removed supposedly.
