In the process of sanitizing my fresh tank after taking my coach out of storage in prep for the next trip leaving soon. I use a dual filter system for sediment and carbon filters. The bottom of the carbon filter housing looked disgusting. They are in the dishwasher getting a good cleaning tonight.

A few lessons learned:
  1. Don't just replace the filters, inspect the canisters too
  2. Don't store your coach with filters in the canisters, seems they may just break down and yuck the canister
  3. Clean canisters at the end of a trip or on a routine basis
Blech!
