Has anyone with a newer Chevy Colorado have issues with their anti theft system starting their truck? This is after installing the battery disconnect and cigarette power port for a breaking system. I’ve had issues trying to start my 2019 Colorado. Anti theft system comes on not allowing the truck to start. Wondering if maybe it’s something related to all the extra things I had to add in order to flat tow???

If you remove all those things, can you start it?

When I have problems, I always go back to the last thing touched.

If you did the install, then retrace your steps carefully. A electrical schematic would be handy in this case if you can put your hands on one.

If done by someone else, politely request they do the same.

I had a 2017 Canyon and now have a 2022 Canyon with a battery disconnect switch and I haven't experienced any problems.
