I drove up to the Lincon Nebraska FMCA rally and talked to the Michelin tire booth about the storage of my Class A. I store indoors on the cement floor and he said to use plastic or cardboard between the tires and the cement. I asked about wood or horse mats from Tractor Supply. He stated that you don't want to use treated wood becuase of the chemicals and that the glue they use to make horse mats will damage your tires. He did mention that storing outside you need to make sure your tires are on a well-drain surface and you can use wood with plastic on top of the wood to protect the tires.

Short honest answer…..your tires will time out long before any of the above will harm your tires. Pull it into your garage and your tires will do just fine without any type of mats etc.

You are probably right. The only time I worried about it was when we parked our 5er outside and water would pool about 1 or deep after a rain so I put the tires up on a couple of 2X6 with plastic placemats between the tires and the wood.
