My awnings are not Girard, but this worked quite well for me!
Mix Dawn with luke warm water! Climb a ladder, use a soft brush & the solution on the top side of the awning.
Use power washer to rinse away the soap, dirt, etc. Then use power washer from underside to rinse away the residue! Let air dry!
Amazing the color of the water running off, when rinsed from the underside!!
