The Copper Bullet hose now states its lead free. Is there any reason not to use one for city water? I currently carry three white hoses of different lengths. The “pocket” hose would save a lot of room.

Do you drink city water?
I would bathe, wash, rinse, etc. but never drink city water or tank water.
I carry bottled water for drinking and beverage making.

Always drink city water. I’ll even drink the fresh tank water if no city for some reason. Not Boondockers but do overnight at Cracker Barrel etc.

Think you answered your own question!!! Even your drinking water hose has some plasticisers in the plastic that leaches into the water. No attention is paid to materials when they don't have to meet the same standards. PEX is likely the closest to safe for drinking water(not)!

Please don't say you have been doing it all your life, and your healthy! My response is always the same! How many meds are you on???

As for my meds, 2. High blood pressure and cholesterol. 75 years old. Not really a freak about healthy conditions. Just try to adjust as convienient.

Never heard of micro-plastics.

We have the white hoses as well however a couple years ago I found a self retracting hose that water food grade and I love it. Yes I do use the water in may tank for drinking and cooking. This is something I have never understood on why don't people drink the water in form their RV. I have never used antifreeze when winterizing so I do not have any bad taste. I filter water going in and I filter at point of use. We regularly sanitize our tanks.

Not sure the micro (expandable, etc.) hoses are rated for constant pressure. It would make me nervous to leave them for long under pressure. Perhaps they have made major improvements, but for RV water supply (no thanks).
They are great for accessory hoses however (especially putting a wand down the toilet to clean the black tank). Will be following waiting for some experienced advice Blessings

From above post!!!

I would have made that comment some years back! But then I was shocked to the core! Seems there is a conspiracy amongst the very wealthy that only made sense when you realize sick people are worth more than the healthy in certain industries!!!

Water purification is our best defense! You may need telegram to view this!
