Do you drink city water? The Copper Bullet hose now states its lead free. Is there any reason not to use one for city water? I currently carry three white hoses of different lengths. The “pocket” hose would save a lot of room.
Think you answered your own question!!! Even your drinking water hose has some plasticisers in the plastic that leaches into the water. No attention is paid to materials when they don't have to meet the same standards. PEX is likely the closest to safe for drinking water(not)!Always drink city water. I’ll even drink the fresh tank water if no city for some reason. Not Boondockers but do overnight at Cracker Barrel etc.
As for my meds, 2. High blood pressure and cholesterol. 75 years old. Not really a freak about healthy conditions. Just try to adjust as convienient.Think you answered your own question!!! Please don't say you have been doing it all your life, and you’re healthy! My response is always the same! How many meds are you on
Look at what I said as a recommendation! You are sovereign, you have the power of free will!As for my meds, 2. High blood pressure and cholesterol. 75 years old. Not really a freak about healthy conditions. Just try to adjust as convienient.
Never heard of micro-plastics.
Ya know, bottled water comes in a plastic bottle... Beer comes in a can. Draw your own conclusions.Even your drinking water hose has some plasticisers in the plastic that leaches into the water. the cans are plastic linedYa know, bottled water comes in a plastic bottle... Beer comes in a can. Draw your own conclusions.
I guess I'll have to start buying kegs.the cans are plastic lined
One warning! Let it be known you advocate not poisoning God's temple, and you will be treated as I am!The hose still contains chromium and cobalt which is used to stabilize the polymers. Other heavy elements are used in the master batch mixed with either prime or off spec resins to color the polymers. Asian made polymers are made from crude oil derivatives, these are dirty plastics. North American made polymers are made from natural gas, much cleaner. I would not use these hoses for drinking water unless they are specifically USDA rated for human use.
or start home brewing…I guess I'll have to start buying kegs.![]()
Yes they are! That is unless what is canned is in glass bottles! Plastic is plastic no matter it's form!the cans are plastic lined
which is to protect users from the aluminum which was the last big scareYes they are! That is unless what is canned is in glass bottles! Plastic is plastic no matter it's form!
The key phrase here.the last big scare
I was wondering if anyone else wanted a retractable hose for the rv. I think the retractable would be great for flushing up the tanks and so easy to store. I too have a long white one that takes up a lot of room. The Copper Bullet hose now states its lead free. Is there any reason not to use one for city water?
