Crack inside in front of slide. Can anyone suggest what caused this?

Hi. We are looking at purchasing a '08 Eagle 42F. It has a few issues, but one that concerns me is a crack in the inside wall just ahead of the street side forward slide. I've attached a photo and wondering if anyone might have an idea as what caused this, and if it is something cosmetic or something structural?

Thank you.

Is that in the inner wall? How deep is it? Anything on the outside?
Iwould have a reputable RV repair place evaluate it. Better yet, get the entire coach inspected by an RVIA certified RV inspector.

Best to have a professional inspector look the entire thing over. There could be other issues that you cannot see.
