Ok, so I'm about 95% sure I'm going to pull the trigger on ordering a new Dutch Star 4369, below are the specials I have planned/requested so far, along with my thinking on router location, and such. In my Ventana there is a nice space, tight, but works, with the 12v fuses and breaker box, where I have my router, UPS, SensorPush, and about five other IOT type things (blink module, Whisper Push, etc.). Most hooked to the UPS, a couple directly to 12v.

In the DS 4369, there isn't a good spot mid ship for this, so instead I'm thinking I will utilize the space above the driver control station (over driver seat) and top shelf of the center cabinet (I won't order a front TV). That's also where they put the starlink, which I will get. This should also make it easy to get pretty short cable run to roof for a combo or two separate antennas (I have three sims, two active radios). It looks like Newmar approved a conduit from that cabinet to roof with a cover/box for wiring such as cell antenna.

I'm pretty deep into Peplink, so will continue using my BR2 Pro 5G or whatever it's called, and don't think I have a need for Wifi Ranger. I'll have Starlink going in as an ethernet WAN device (I'm assuming there is an ethernet out and not just Wifi connectivity, if not, I will have to use it as a Wifi WAN source). Any reason I should consider a Wifi Ranger?

One of my specials will be an ethernet cable (although I might tell them two to each location, in case one is damaged) from router cabinet to back closet, just in case I need a WAP in back of coach.

Any thoughts on this setup, and is there anything I'm missing either in my thinking or in specials below?

Thanks

  • Denied - Rollout dining table (hoping they will still do this)
  • 3/4 length powered trays (rather than full length) so I can put taller items on off-door side and still use tray on door side
  • Extended depth cabinets in dining area
  • Lights under kitchen cabinet (unless standard in DS)
  • Extra outlets in multiple areas in bays and interior (Some might be standard, but would want a 110v behind each end of couch, behind dRiver and passenger seats)
  • Extra USB and 12v for power to left of driver wheel.
  • Extra 110v in router cabinet (where starlink is — would like four outlets, so no extra if already four)
  • 12v power in starlink cabinet
  • 110v and 12v power in Outlet in center cabinet over dash
  • Drill hole between Starlink cabinet and center cabinet so that wires can be based between.
  • Run ethernet from Victron Cerbo to cabinet I'll put my router (probably up front where they put starlink)
  • Run ethernet from wiring closet to rear closet (in case I need to add a WAP)
  • Denied - Switch to open driver's window from bay below driver's window (not sure they will approve this)
  • Outlet on separate breaker under kitchen cabinets for a coffee machine
  • 110+USB outlet in rear closet
  • 110v in cord reel department (if there isn't one already)
  • Denied - GFCI 110v in wet bay (will probably be denied)
  • Adjustable shelves in bedroom wards
  • Conduit and access port/wiring box on roof, running from router cabinet (where starlink will be) to roof to install cell antennas, etc.
  • Can you see if we can get the tufted furniture (couch and theater seats) like in the London air or Essex?
  • ITR/Oasis muffler installed.
  • ITR/Oasis intake air silencer

That rollout table is an interesting feature. It was definitely available for ‘21 models. I got to touch one when I was putting together my specials at Nappanee. I opted to go another way, but I really like the rollout.

If it was denied, I suspect the table itself has been discontinued, or just dropped from the Newmar options due to low demand.

I’m certain you could find someone to make one if that’s what you really want.
