Hi Jim. All those pictures from today are of the town of Lévis. It’s right across the st Lawrence river from Quebec City in the province of Quebec.
I'm trying to find out what the buildings are. The first one looks like maybe apartments? The second one looks like maybe a courthouse or something? And the third, individual apartments or homes?

The one that looks like a courthouse is actually a catholic junior senior high school. The other ones are various residences. I love the architecture.

Short entry today. We are beat. I think we did 15000 steps today in Quebec City…and I’m sure it was uphill…both ways. And I was carrying our old chihuahua for half of it. 😊. So 7 pictures only. Great city. Super friendly. I seem to have regained my fluency in French although I’m sure I have list a bit of my vocabulary. 😜. I just used Spanish words to fill in the blanks. (You would be surprised how often that works 😀.

If it’s not on your list then add this city and region to your list. Easy to kill a week here.

Here we go. M

Hi folks. Just going thru some more pictures of the Quebec City area which I will post today or tomorrow. We are on the way back west.

But we also stopped at an enroute rest stop in Ontario for a pee and coffee break and they had an IVY branded charger there with a CCS and Tesla station. Never seen anything like it. It has a built in adaptor for Teslas. Figure we would try it out and low and behold it works. Kinda slow at 50 kw but then again the rest stop had 2 restaurants so it would probably be fine for a lunch stop. We only stayed long enough to try it and get a few pics as we were headed for the Supercharger in Cornwall. Anyway, here are a few pics. Good to see public chargers adding Tesla cables.

Anyway, I’ll get the remaining Quebec pictures up soonest.

A very recent addition to our local DC station. Tried it for the first time last evening. The adapter is stored in the white box just left of the red bollard. Only hit 31 kW but I was at 76%. Next time I’ll give it a try at a much lower state of charge. Agreed, great additions. 👍🙂

Just a few more pics. We have been on the road and now dead heading across northwestern Ontario. 500 to 600 kilometres a day which for us is a lot as we typically travel half or less than that. Back into touring mode day after tomorrow. But here are the wrap up pics from Quebec City area and along the route.

Montmorency falls outside Quebec city.

Sucking up some free electrons at the Voyageurs lodge and cookhouse. They allow free dry camping and Tesla destination charger usage. We had a great breakfast at their grab and go restaurant. We stayed the night. Crazy electrical storm in the morning.

Our charge stats after 32 days on the road. The red is Superchargers and the grey is campgrounds. I’ll have to check but I think we are at just under 8000 kilometres at this point.

We’ll check in in a few days. Safe travels folks.

Made it to Waterton national park. We overnighted at a supercharger last night after a 600 kilometre day.

ITS RAINING HARD HERE. More coming tomorrow but after that it should be nice for a few days. Lots of hiking planned after we update our bear spray. So far we love this park.

We dry camped here last night. Long day.
