Exercising it monthly, drove it today to get shocks replaced in 90 degree temps, still working great.
 
just watch what refrigerant you buy, they use a new type on newer AC units.
 
I'm on my 3rd dash AC compressor. As asked earlier, does the clutch engage when turned on?
Do you have gauges to check the freon level? Could be a leak in the system.
I have a Newmar Ventana Le and I have gone through 4 now on 5 and the parts are no longer available. There is a work around at Freightliner. Some Newmar repair sites may have the work around. There is a hose with a check valve that goes bad after about 4-6 months. The original system is a combination Newmar Freightliner design that was horrible to say the least. They have eliminated one of the hoses with a check valve. Your dryer should still be good and its only a hose system re-design.
