Thats great to hear. Even as a one man show I wonder why they choose to not provide a business location? What also was weird, I did not see the DI tanks on their Amazon page. Are you happy with your tank purchase, does it work like the video shows?

The tanks they use are standard poly tanks. I have no problem with their tanks, as there is only 2 manufacturers of all polytanks of this size.

The tank heads are fine, but I prefer clack heads.

I recently have done a mix of tanks from O2G and other sources, just because sourcing poly tanks directly is very difficult. I then purchased the clack heads with the valves that I wanted to enable bypass.

You pay a slight premium ordering these direct, but it is often offset with the included resin.

I was putting together 4 separate systems, so it was worth the effort to source on my own. Doing for just a single purchase, I wouldn't have spent so much time doing it.

As far as the address, I know he runs this out of his home. He probably chose that reason to not publish the data. I have talked with him on the phone a few times, and it was obvious that he was very knowledgeable about the industry.

For one man shows, the holidays are usually very hard on the family, and I applaud his decision to shut things down and take time off. Too many business owners don't do this and allow family life to suffer.

They are now offering a clack head option. Not when I last ordered.

Redbaron,
What started all this for me was to upgrade a tank to the Clack head and bypass valve. I have found the WS1 V3006 bypass valve for $34 and the C-series C1190 in/out head for $24 at Fresh Water systems. Is this a good price or is there somewhere better to purchase these parts? It sounds like you have already done what I am attempting to do. Is there anything else I would need to convert my tank? I was hoping to find someplace local to purchase from so I could eliminate the shipping cost. Any ideas or help?
Thanks

Here is the parts list I made when doing the purchase back in August of 2022. I was building a large system for the house, and several smaller systems for horse trailers and RV's.

For the smaller system, I started purchasing the Tank from DIRINSE.COM for the DI-Pro-50. I then later purchase one from RV Water Filter store. These hold 0.5 CU ft of resin, and are perfect for the RV wash. I now have 2 units for my LA, one for DI rinse, and one for Soft Water.

Redbaron,

Again, that is great and complete information. I have an existing tank so I dont require all the parts listed. I am trying to replace the head of the tank with the C1190 and the V3006 bypass valve and the V3007 90 degree fittings, I will add a PVC 1" X 3/4" slip by thread fitting to these fittings. I also have a D1203 upper fine screen and hope it fits the C1190 head, the upper screen is the twist on type screen and it accepts a 1.05" distributor tube just not sure the twist on is the same on both heads. It looks the same, do you know if the screen fits the C1190 head? As for the balance of the parts looks like the pricing is pretty close. Either way I would still have to pay shipping, so I am thinking of just purchasing everything from Fresh Water Systems. Please let me know if you think the twist on upper screen will fit the C1190?
Thanks again,

I have several screens that all fit easily on the c1190. I think the size is standard, based on the opening.
